Account Manager – 12 Month FTC

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager with Print and POS experienceto join our team here at The Delta Group for a 9 month fixed term contract initally.

The successful candidate will provide a service that focuses on putting the customer first, delivering against agreed SLA’s and KPI’s at all times. You will manage projects from start to finish ensuring they are flawlessly moved through the business to provide client satisfaction whilst being pro-active in your approach towards the client, assisting them and the account team to meet all business objectives.

You will be autonomous and flexible with sharing your time based at either of our offices in Walthamstow or Waltham Cross and being onsite (client) as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, brief and oversee all projects you are managing and take full responsibility for service delivery ;
  • Ensure accurate, right first time information is briefed into production through our bespoke systems;
  • Attend client briefing meetings as required. Take a leading role in offering advice and support;
  • Interact with other key suppliers adding value to the process whenever possible;
  • Take part in pre-production meetings for all key projects ensuring that all relevant front of house and back of house personnel attend;
  • Quoting each project in full and gaining category approval and SAP purchase order before orders are processed through production escalating where necessary to Corporate contacts in Asda House ;
  • Managing stock levels within the Delta library for replenishments and disposals through MPDo ;
  • Spend time in-store managing implementation, assisting with key events and trials etc;
  • View campaigns in-store and consider how they have been implemented, ideas for improvements etc;
  • Support Action Line with any post campaign follow ups, issue resolution etc;
  • Ensure that all your client information is kept up to date and accurate at all times;
  • Work with the Senior Account Manager to create any required reporting for the client and business.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • High energy with confident Account Management experience in POS/POP Print/Visual Communications;
  • Exceptional communication skills; Confident in front of clients and back of house teams capable of inspiring confidence in client and colleagues;
  • Amazing organizational skills;
  • Passion for quality;
  • Proficient IT literacy, including skills with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Proven track record of delivery;
  • Comfortable working in a challenging, high pressured, reactive environment alongside the client.

Managers Requirements

    baseline'>Work with the Head of European Operations to
    develop, deliver and report on the Annual Development Plan
    baseline'>Support the Delta Group sales team to find and
    engage with new business opportunities
    baseline'>Play an integral role in tenders, and the
    on-boarding of new clients
    baseline'>Work with the Delta Group supply chain team to
    build and on-board a Western European supply chain and logistics partners as
    baseline'>Manage allocated clients, being the figurehead for
    the Delta business within the client, leading by example, showing thought
    leadership and delivering against agreed SLAs
    baseline'>Continually look at process improvements that will
    benefit the client
    baseline'>Display a positive ‘can do’ attitude, manage client
    expectations and aim to deliver exceptional service
    baseline'>Build and develop excellent relationship with the
    production teams to ensure there is a two way flow of information and both
    teams are working together to deliver for the client
    baseline'>Ensure regular reporting is maintained into the
    Head of European Operations. Reporting should include performance against SLA’s
    / KPI’s, reverse SLA’s, cost saving initiatives, new opportunities delivered,
    financial position etc.

    client to develop a Ways of Working document for the region/ country


    baseline'>As the region/ country client base grows, support
    your team with the planning and briefing of jobs and oversee all projects that
    flow through your client
    baseline'>Attend client briefing meetings as and when
    required. Take a leading role in offering advice and support
    baseline'>Interact with other key suppliers adding value to
    the process whenever possible
    baseline'>Hold pre-production meetings for all key projects
    ensuring that all relevant front of house and back of house personnel attend
    baseline'>Report to the Head of European Operations on all
    financial aspects of your client activities, including the timely invoicing,
    setting and managing budgets
    baseline'>Ensure that all your client information is kept up
    to date and accurate at all times
    baseline'>Spend time with other Delta Account teams to enable
    sharing of knowledge, insight, ideas and team working


    baseline'>Extensive print or print management experience in
    the region/ country
    baseline'>An aptitude and track record for business
    development and a passion for finding new business
    baseline'>Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop
    positive relationships
    baseline'>Excellent communication skills. Multi-Lingual would
    be beneficial.
