An opportunity has arisen for an application developer to join Digital Viscom (Delta’s IT company), and contribute to the development of the “Workstream” suite of systems, which are central to how Delta engages with its clients.

This new hire will be a database-oriented developer, responsibility areas being:

  • Develop business applications for use within Delta or for use by Delta’s clients
  • Manage and optimise databases of several million records.
  • Provide technical support for existing and new applications

The successful candidate will have up to 3 years’ experience of application development. They will be well versed in structured programming, software testing and database optimisation. 

The candidate will have proven ability to understand a business requirement or process, and turn it into well written, well tested, documented and maintainable code.

The successful candidate will have detailed and demonstrable experience of the following technical areas

  • C# .net for web applications
  • AJAX & Telerik
  • MVC
  • MS SQL server 
  • Angular 1 and 2
  • HTML
  • 2 – 3 year experience out of university.

Job Overview

 

The post holder will be responsible for operating the Company’s delivery vehicles, undertaking deliveries & collections as required, loading & unloading of goods & assisting with Warehouse duties if required. The post holder will also need to be flexible to accommodate overtime requests & additional hours often at short notice to accommodate the business needs.

Responsibilities / Requirements

  • HGV Class 1 or 2 License (class 2 preferred)
  • To maintain the safe operational use of the Company Vehicles, reporting any issues or defects
  • Ensure all daily checks are completed and the twice daily check sheet is completed
  • To undertake deliveries and collections as requested
  • To load and unload vehicles effectively and with caution
  • Responsibility to keep the vehicle(s) clean inside and out
  • Any other reasonable requests as directed by the Transport office staff, Supervisors or Managers
  • To keep the Transport office informed & updated

Senior Account Manager Requirements

  • Work with the Head of European Operations to develop, deliver and report on the Annual Development Plan
  • Support the Delta Group sales team to find and engage with new business opportunities 
  • Play an integral role in tenders, and the on-boarding of new clients
  • Work with the Delta Group supply chain team to build and on-board a Western European supply chain and logistics partners as required 
  • Manage allocated clients, being the figurehead for the Delta business within the client, leading by example, showing thought leadership and delivering against agreed SLAs
  • Continually look at process improvements that will benefit the client
  • Display a positive ‘can do’ attitude, manage client expectations and aim to deliver exceptional service
  • Build and develop excellent relationship with the production teams to ensure there is a two way flow of information and both teams are working together to deliver for the client
  • Ensure regular reporting is maintained into the Head of European Operations. Reporting should include performance against SLA’s / KPI’s, reverse SLA’s, cost saving initiatives, new opportunities delivered, financial position etc.
  • Work with the Head of European Operations and the client to develop a Ways of Working document for the region/ country

Additional responsibilities

As the region/ country client base grows, support your team with the planning and briefing of jobs and oversee all projects that flow through your client.

  • Attend client briefing meetings as and when required. Take a leading role in offering advice and support
  • Interact with other key suppliers adding value to the process whenever possible
  • Hold pre-production meetings for all key projects ensuring that all relevant front of house and back of house personnel attend
  • Report to the Head of European Operations on all financial aspects of your client activities, including the timely invoicing, setting and managing budgets
  • Ensure that all your client information is kept up to date and accurate at all times
  • Spend time with other Delta Account teams to enable sharing of knowledge, insight, ideas and team working

The Delta Group is seeking an experienced PR & Marketing Manager to lead our marketing activities in an exciting time of growth for the company. The PR & Marketing Manager will be responsible for the proactive, strategic marketing of The Delta Group and its subsidiaries to its clients and prospects and will oversee the implementation of our Group Marketing Plan.

Working with stakeholders across the organisation you will identify opportunities to promote the business and will lead on projects and marketing campaigns, both digital and physical, to differentiate us from competitors. You will be required to manage and guide our Marketing Executive who manages the day-to-day running of marketing activities.  We’re looking for a digitally focused individual with experience in content marketing that will bring innovative ideas and insights to our marketing mix.

About Us

The Delta Group is a marketing services provider, operating from multiple sites within the UK & Europe, and working with international blue-chip clients. We are the largest private POS provider in Europe and engage with clients at every stage of their campaigns – creative, production, fulfilment, installation and more. Responsibilities

  • Strategy: Creation and implementation of the Group Marketing Plan
  • Content Marketing: Creation of blog posts, videos, and infographics on a regular basis to drive thought leadership
  • PR: Manage relationships with main press contacts and find opportunities to promote the company
  • Sales support: Work closely with the sales and account management teams to develop innovative marketing materials
  • Advertising & promotion: Seeking out new opportunities to increase brand awareness , including key speaker opportunities, events and other promotional activities with the aim to improve brand awareness in order that Delta automatically appears in the tender shortlist for all relevant opportunities
  • Group Brand Management: Manage the various brands and ensure clear and consistent branding and messaging is communicated across all client touch points
  • Client Outreach: Work with core clients to understand how better to improve our offering
  • Digital Marketing: Manage Delta’s digital estate, including the website, all social media channels and paid advertising
  • Market Research: Develop insights into the various markets in which Delta operates in
  • Effectiveness: be able to prove the effectiveness of the Content Marketing Programme both in terms of quantifiable data (no of opportunities received, converted etc.) and also qualitatively in terms of enhanced brand awareness and equity

 

Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience

We’re looking for a passionate all-rounder with 5+ years experience in managing marketing for a similar B2B company.

 Ideally, this person will have a strong background in digital and content marketing.

A working knowledge of SEO, SEM and marketing automation is essential

Comfortable running and populating social media channels with a deep understanding of ROI on campaigns.

  • Experience in driving inbound traffic to the website is highly desirable.
  • The ability to work to deadlines and cope with the consequent pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to write engaging thought leadership pieces.
  • Creative, innovative and with strong multi-tasking skills
  • Computer literacy – ideally with experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop) and digital tools such as Mailchimp, WordPress and Survey Monkey.
  • The successful candidate will be able to work with high-level stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities – extremely ambitious, inquisitive, and pro-active.

Location

We have two main sites in London. For the most part you will be working from our Waltham Cross office (EN9 1AS), but from time to time you may be needed at our Walthamstow office (E17 5QZ)
